By accessing or using TutorAI (the "Service"), operated by [TutorAI Inc.] ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. AI Disclosure

TutorAI uses artificial intelligence to provide tutoring assistance. All tutoring conversations are generated by an AI model (currently powered by Anthropic). The AI tutor is not a human, and its responses are generated algorithmically based on the input provided.

3. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. TutorAI is a supplemental learning tool and should not be relied upon as the sole source of test preparation. We recommend verifying important information with official test preparation materials and qualified educators.

We do not guarantee specific score improvements or outcomes on the SAT or any other standardized test.

4. Age Requirements

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use TutorAI.
  • Users between 13 and 17 years old must have parental or guardian awareness and consent to use the Service.
  • We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any purpose other than SAT preparation and related educational activities.
  • Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or circumvent the AI tutor's safety guidelines or system instructions.
  • Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service without our prior written consent.
  • Transmit harmful, abusive, or unlawful content through the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of TutorAI (excluding user-generated content) are owned by [TutorAI Inc.] and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Trademark Disclaimer

SAT is a registered trademark of the College Board. ACT is a registered trademark of ACT, Inc. TutorAI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the College Board, ACT, Inc., or any other testing organization. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used here solely for identification purposes.

8. Subscription and Payment

Certain features of TutorAI may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing cycles will be presented at the time of purchase. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees and authorize us to charge your chosen payment method.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy, which will be provided at the point of purchase.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, [TUTORAI INC.] AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
